Arrested For Brawl, 46 Students Sanctioned With Singing "Tek Kotek Anak Ayam"

JAKARTA - A total of 46 students who wanted to fight at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta (Jaksel) were sanctioned for singing the song "Tek Kotek Anak Ayam" while counting down.

"We try from positive things to sing just one song, one reduction, that many cannot concentrate, even though it is to test their cohesiveness," said Pesanggrahan Police Chief AKP Seala Syah Alam, Friday, October 31.

AKP Seala Syah Alam said the incident began on Tuesday, October 28, evening at 18.00 WIB, and his party received reports from residents regarding the brawl.

From the report, the police rushed to secure three students who wanted to fight so that they could be thwarted.

"Then, we carried out developments down to the roots and found 46 children from various junior high schools," said Seala.

The police immediately picked them up at the location, at home or at school. After being visited, the police also found a number of evidences, namely iron ruler, sickle, and golf club.

The sharp weapons were partially purchased individually, but some were purchased collectively through online stores.

After being traced, they seem to have gathered groups through a direct message feature on Instagram and WhatsApp social media.

Currently, they must regret their actions to teachers and parents. In addition, their Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) facility was also revoked.

"Furthermore, we also ask that they do not repeat their actions again, apologize to their parents and teachers as well," said Seala.

Regarding this incident, the Pesanggrahan Police are committed to continuing to provide education and supervision about juvenile delinquency, especially regarding brawls.
