JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned a member of the DPR from the NasDem Party, Rajiv, for questioning regarding the alleged corruption of Bank Indonesia's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Monday, October 27.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of RAJ as a private party," said the KPK spokesman, Budi Prasetyo, in a written statement.

Budi has not detailed the material for the examination of Rajiv, but has confirmed that the person concerned is being examined as a witness. KPK has scheduled witness examinations in alleged corruption related to social programs or CSR at Bank Indonesia and OJK," he said.

Rajiv is known to have not become a legislator when the BI-OJK CSR funds were allegedly misused. He is said to be still serving as an expert staff of Commission XI of the DPR RI and helping to distribute the program funds.

Previously, the KPK had named two DPR legislators as suspects in this case, namely members of the NasDem Party faction, Satori, and a member of the Gerindra Party faction, Heri Gunawan. Both are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).

During the investigation, Satori allegedly received a total of IDR 12.52 billion, consisting of IDR 6.30 billion from BI, IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities, and IDR 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR. The money is allegedly used for personal interests such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, to vehicle purchases.

Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan is said to have received Rp15.86 billion, consisting of Rp6.26 billion from BI, Rp7.64 billion from OJK, and Rp1.94 billion from the DPR Commission XI partners. The funds are allegedly used to build restaurants, drink outlets, buy land and buildings, as well as four-wheeled vehicles.
