Three Train Trips From Daop Semarang Canceled Due To Purwojaya Anjlok Train

PT KAI (Persero) canceled the journey of three long-distance trains from various stations in the Daop 4 Semarang area with the aim of Jakarta for departure on Sunday due to the falling train at Kedunggedeh Station, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Saturday, October 25.

Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 4 Semarang Franoto Wibowo said the three long-distance trains whose departures were canceled were Argo Merbabu train, Semarang-Jakarta connection, Tegal Bahari train, Tegal-Jakarta connection, and Menoreh train Semarang-Jakarta connection.

According to him, KAI ensures recovery service for passengers affected by the trip.

In addition, he said, PT KAI also returned 100 percent of the train ticket price which was canceled for departure.

In addition to the journey of the three trains that were dispatched, he continued, the journey of 31 trains with the aim of or passing through Daop Semarang also experienced delays.

According to him, KAI minimizes delays and normalization of lanes due to the accident.
