JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially detained the President Commissioner of PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE) in 2007-present Arso Sudewo. He is a suspect in alleged corruption in the cooperation of buying and selling gas at PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN).

"The KPK then made detentions for the first 20 days starting from October 21, 2025 to November 9, 2025. The detention was carried out at the KPK branch detention center," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 21.

As for Arso, followed the suspect who had already been detained. He is the President Director of PT PGN for the period 2008-2017, Hendi Prio Santoso.

In this case, Arso allegedly gave 500 thousand US dollars from Hendi as the President Director of PT PGN for the 2008-2017 period. The money is suspected to be a commitment fee agreed upon by the cooperation between PGN and the private company.

Asep said that the cooperation between PT PGN and PT IAE was also colored by a number of consolidators. The option is finally said to use an advanced payment payment method of 15 million US dollars.

"After the agreement, the US brother gave a commitment fee of 500 thousand Singapore dollars to HPS's brother at his office located in Jakarta," said Asep, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigations.

"That then, for the commitment fee, HPS gave some of Singapore's 10 thousand dollars to YG's brother in return for being introduced to US brothers," he continued.

For his actions, Arso is suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and / or Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
