Chatting When He Wants To Be Sexted, The Motive For The Perpetrator To Kill A Boy In The Toilet Of The Majalengka Mosque

MAJALENGKA - Majalengka Resort Police (Polres), West Java, revealed the motive behind the murder of an 11-year-old boy who was found dead in the toilet of a mosque in Sadasari Village, Majalengka.

Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Willy Andrian said the case was successfully uncovered after the police arrested the perpetrator with the initials G (24), who is strongly suspected of having killed the victim with the initials MR.

"We arrested the perpetrator in the Majalengka Kota area on Monday (20/10) at around 16.30 WIB, after we carried out a series of investigations," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 21.

He said that from the results of the examination, the motive that underlies the perpetrators of the murder was sexual deviation.

Willy explained that G had previously traveled around the scene to find a target on Saturday (18/10). When he saw the victim playing on a bicycle, the perpetrator persuaded him with the lure of around Rp700 thousand in order to be invited to the mosque toilet.

When he was about to launch the action, he said, the victim refused and rebelled, causing the perpetrator to be angry and kill the victim's life.

"The perpetrator has indications of deviant behavior. When the victim refused his invitation, the perpetrator pushed the victim's head until it hit a wall, then strangled him to death," he said.

After the incident, the perpetrator fled and left the scene. However, the suspect was finally arrested after the police moved quickly to conduct an investigation by combining scientific methods and field analysis.

After being arrested, Willy continued, the perpetrator admitted to committing an act that caused the victim to die and was strengthened by the autopsy results showing injuries to the head and bruises on the victim's neck.

"The perpetrator carried out the action spontaneously. The mosque happened to be the place he found when he was walking around," he said.

Currently, investigators are still waiting for the complete results of the forensic laboratory examination to confirm whether or not there is an element of sexual violence against the victim.

"For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder and Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison or life imprisonment," he said.
