Heboh! Member Of The Blitar DPRD Allegedly Having An Affair With Polwan, PPP Takes Firm Steps

The United Development Party (PPP) has taken firm steps against one of its cadres who is also a member of the Blitar City DPRD with the initials GP. The politician from the PPP faction was temporarily disabled after being dragged into an alleged affair with a female police officer (polwan) who served at the Blitar City Police.

The chairman of the Blitar City PPP DPC, Agus Zunaidi, confirmed the decision. He emphasized that an inactive submission letter had been sent to the chairman of the Blitar City DPRD.

"We have sent a letter to the chairman of the DPRD so that the person concerned is temporarily inactive from the activities of the council and the board's equipment. The goal is that he can focus on the alleged case," Agus explained.

The incident that dragged the name of the GP occurred on Saturday (18/10/2025) at a hotel in Batu City. At that time, it was known that GP was following technical guidance (bimtek) along with a number of other council members.

On the sidelines of the official activity, GP is suspected of holding a private meeting with policewomen from the Blitar City Police at different hotels.

However, when the Batu Police raid was carried out, it was reported that the GP was not in the hotel room. This was conveyed by Agus Zunaidi based on information received directly from the GP.

Even so, the husband of a policewoman who is also a member of the Blitar City Police has reported the alleged affair to the Batu Police.

Agus emphasized that his party was still waiting for the progress of the police investigation. Until now, PPP has not received an official report or complete statement regarding the actual incident.

"We have also asked for clarification from the person concerned, but have not received a detailed explanation regarding the actual incident," said Agus.

He also apologized to the public for the incident that tarnished the party's good name.

"On behalf of the party, we apologize for what happened," he added.

Agus added that PPP respects the ongoing legal process and still upholds the principle of presumption of innocence. He emphasized that the party will not provide legal assistance because the case is considered a personal matter, not related to political positions.

Meanwhile, the Honorary Board (BK) of the Blitar City DPRD stated that it would take ethical steps after the legal process has a permanent decision. BK has the authority to hold a code of ethics trial and determine sanctions according to the level of violation.

"Until now, based on the information we received, the person concerned has not been investigated by the police," said Agus.

The case of the alleged member of the Blitar DPRD having an affair with this policewoman is still under investigation. PPP and the Blitar City DPRD affirmed their commitment to maintaining institutional integrity while ensuring law enforcement runs transparently and fairly.
