A Year's Value Observer Prabowo's Government Only Gets A Value Of 6

Political observer Ray Rangkuti assesses that the performance of President Prabowo Subianto's administration for the past year has not shown significant results.

He gave a value of 6 from a scale of 10 for the achievement of the government, citing failure in a number of important sectors, such as political reform, economic improvement, and legal development.

"I think if you are given a value in the last year of Pak Prabowo's administration, I think the value is 6." Ray said in a discussion in Jakarta, Sunday, October 19.

According to him, this value has been accompanied by a 'safety margin', because if you evaluate objectively, the government's performance so far has not been able to achieve the reform target that is expected by the community.

"Because in my opinion, even though I gave safety, actually the creation failed. So failed in what field? Political reform and democracy. Failed where? In economic improvement. Failed where? In legal development," he said.

He emphasized that in these three main sectors, the Prabowo government has not been able to show a real direction of change, namely the development of political reforms and democracy, economic improvement, and legal development.

Even so, he admits that there are still things that Prabowo's government can appreciate. One of them, according to him, is the efforts to eradicate corruption which has recently been mostly carried out by law enforcement officers outside the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"But there is something that stands out in the era of Pak Prabowo. That's what makes him something. What is it? Eradication of corruption. Not good. Not by the KPK, (but) by the Attorney General's Office. Well, there I give appreciation to Pak Prabowo," he continued.
