Polda Metro Jaya Arrests Two People Carrying Cartridge Pod Containing Etomade And 1.8 Kg Of Methamphetamine In Kelapa Gading

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police arrested two drug dealers of methamphetamine, ecstasy and a "cartridge pod" suspected of containing ethodidates in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta.

"Two suspects, namely a man with the initials H (31) and a woman with the initials E (51) were arrested during the arrest which took place on Thursday (October 16)," said Head of Unit (Kanit) 3 Sub-Directorate (Sub-Directorate) 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police, AKP Abdul Muchzin GM in his statement in Jakarta, Friday.

Abdul explained that both of them were arrested in front of Indomaret, Jalan Pulau Putri No. 22, Kelapa Gading Barat Village, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta.

"From the hands of the suspects confiscated 1.8 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 6 ecstasy pills with pink and orange, 3 cartridge pods," he said.

Abdul explained that this arrest began with public information about locations that were often used as places for drug transactions.

"We managed to secure 2 suspects with the initials H and E in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta, with evidence of methamphetamine weighing 1.8 kilograms, six ecstasy pills and three 'cartridge vapes' containing narcotics," he said.

The team then carried out an in-depth investigation before arresting the suspects at the scene. The results of the initial interrogation stated that no more drugs were stored elsewhere.

Currently, the two suspects along with evidence have been brought to the Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the Metro Jaya Police for further investigation.

"Furthermore, for further investigation, the suspect and evidence are secured at the Mako Polda Metro Jaya," he said.
