2 Prospective PPPK Sigi Regency Government Cancels Graduating Due To Involvement In Practical Politics

JAKARTA - The Sigi Regency Government (Pemkab) in Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi) canceled the graduation of two prospective Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) who were previously declared to have passed the selection in 2024, because they were involved in practical politics.

Head of the Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDMD) Sigi Syafrudin said the two PPPK candidates were Gunfa Anzir and Yufi Afianti, respectively.

"Regarding Yufi Afianti's sister, we have written to the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and we have received technical considerations from BKN as of February 13, 2025," said Syafrudin when met by media crews at his office. Bora Village, Friday, confiscated by Antara.

He revealed that his party had received a BKN letter regarding the cancellation of PPPK candidates who carried out practical politics and supported one of the candidates for the Sigi Regent during the 2024 Pilkada.

Based on the letter, Gunfa Anzir and Yufi Afianti can cancel their graduation as PPPK candidates if they are proven to have committed and were involved in practical politics.

"So, it was this letter that became the reference for the Sigi BKPSDMD, so that it could not issue a decree on the appointment of the person concerned as a PPPK," he said.

According to him, if the person concerned still objected to the BKN letter, he was allowed to take an open legal route such as the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

"If later the Administrative Court decision in question wins, we will return their rights," he said.

He said that his party is currently still waiting for the person concerned if he appeals to the Administrative Court.

"The deadline for the lawsuit to the Administrative Court is until the end of October and if there is no appeal, the two honorary staff cannot be appointed as PPPK in Sigi Regency," he said.

Syafrudin ensured that the local government through the local BKPSDMD was ready to provide answers when in court later.

"It should be noted why there is no summons to Yufi and Gunfa for BAP, because they are still PPPK candidates, so we are based on strong evidence that the person concerned is involved in practical politics," he said.

He ensured that the Sigi BKPSDMD had worked transparently and openly in the process of selecting honorary personnel into PPPK in Sigi Regency.

"We have worked in accordance with existing regulations, we cannot violate the provisions from the initial process to the announcement, even the appointment of honorary staff to become PPPK," said Syafrudin.

The entire registration process, he said, to the announcement and appointment of honorary staff as PPPK in Sigi had been carried out openly and transparently.

"So the process of appointing PPPK in Sigi Regency is very transparent because everything is conveyed to the public openly and the registration process through the application that has been provided," he said.

Previously, category II (K2) honorary workers in Sigi Regency questioned the mechanism for appointing government employees with a work agreement (PPPK) in the area.

Yufi Afianti through his attorney, Imansyah said that he had passed the PPPK for the 2024 fiscal year, but until now he has not received a decree on the appointment of PPPK.

"In terms of our client's data, we have passed the administration, competed selection and have completed other supporting documents requested by the Sigi BKPSDMD, but twice the submission of the PPPK SK does not exist," said Imansyah.

Yufi Afianti has worked as an honorary for 19 years, since 2006 at the Sigi Biromaru sub-district office.

The Sigi Regency Government has handed over 2,374 decrees for the appointment of PPPK in Sigi Regency for the first phase of the 2024 fiscal year, then the number of phase two PPPKs that received SK in Sigi was 551 people.
