Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Visits KPK This Morning: Wants Consultation

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung visited the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta this morning, October 16.

Pramono is known to arrive at around 09.55 WIB and was greeted by his staff who had already arrived at the anti-corruption commission office. He then rushed into the building without saying much.

"The agenda today is to consult," said Pramono with a smile.

There was no further statement made by the former Cabinet Secretary of the era of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said Pramono would hold an audience with structural officials. There are a number of discussions to prevent corruption.

"Today the KPK received an audience from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to discuss various efforts to eradicate corruption," he said when confirmed separately.

Budi said there had been a lot of collaboration between his institution and the Jakarta Provincial Government. So, Pramono's visit is nothing new.

Previously, the KPK and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had collaborated a lot on prevention efforts to coordination of supervision in improving systems and governance within the local government.
