JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to explore the role of PT Loco Montrado in the alleged corruption in the management of metal anodes. Three witnesses have been questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Tuesday, October 14.
"The witness was confirmed regarding the corporate roles of PT LCM in the cooperation in processing the metal anode of PT ANTAM," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, October 16.
The witnesses who have been questioned were Agus Zamzam Jamaluddin as former Director of Operations of PT Antam, Tbk; Ariyanto Budi Santoso who is the former Vice President of Operation UBPP LM PT Aneka Tambang, Tbk/Business Management Lead Specialist of PT Aneka Tambang, Tbk; and Arum Rachmanti as Product Inventory Control Unit Head of UBPP LM PT ANTAM, Tbk.
In addition to these three witnesses, investigators have also examined Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo as the former President Director of PT Antam, Tbk on Tuesday, October 7. From the examination, it was investigated regarding an internal audit related to cooperation in managing metal anodes with PT Loco Montrado after the fraud was discovered.
Previously reported, the KPK has named two people as suspects in the case of corruption in the metal anode processing cooperation between PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk and PT Loco Montrado. They are Siman Bahar and Dodi Marniki (DM) as General Manager of the PT Antam Processing Unit.
Dodi has now been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. Meanwhile, Siman Bahar has not been detained due to his health condition.
