Grandmother In Pacitan Slashed With Machete, Emotional Perpetrator Called Cucu Pungut

Pacitan Resort Police (Polres) handled a case of molestation of a grandmother with the initials S (70), in Donorojo District, Pacitan, East Java, which was carried out by a child in front of the law (ABH) with the initials CR.

"We have secured the perpetrator at the Pacitan Police Headquarters for further investigation. Initially, the perpetrator stabbed the victim using a sharp machete," said Pacitan Police Chief AKBPAyub Diponegoro Azhar as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 15.

The victim, who is the adopted grandmother of ABH with the initials CR, suffered stab wounds to the head and back. The victim received intensive care at dr. Darsono Pacitan Hospital.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 18.00 WIB and was only reported to the Donorojo Police towards midnight.

After receiving the report, the police immediately went to the scene to secure the perpetrator and collect evidence.

From the results of the interim investigation, the abuse was allegedly triggered by the emotions of the perpetrator who was offended because he was called a "gult grandson" by the victim.

The police are still investigating the motives and mental condition of the perpetrator who is still a minor.

Meanwhile, the medical team at Dr. Darsono Pacitan Hospital confirmed that the victim was conscious but still weak due to stab wounds to the back and back of the head.

"The victim has been treated at the ER and further acts of wound cleaning and observation have been taken to prevent infection," said one of the hospital's medical officers.

This case is a special concern of the Pacitan Police. In addition to carrying out legal proceedings against the perpetrators, the police also coordinated with the Women and Children Protection unit and the medical team to ensure that the victim received optimal assistance and treatment.
