Panglima Appoints Kadispenad Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana As Sesmillres

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto in his latest mutation decree appointed the Head of Dispenad Brigadier General TNI Wahyu Yudhayana to fill the position of Presidential Military Secretary (Sesmilpres) of the Ministry of State Secretariat replacing Major General TNI Kosasih.

The decision was made by the TNI Commander in the Decree of the TNI Commander Number Kep/1334/IX/2025 concerning Termination and Appointment in Positions within the Indonesian National Army.

Reported by ANTARA, in the decree signed by General Agus at the end of last month, the TNI Commander appointed Colonel Inf. Donny Pramono as Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) to replace Wahyu.

Assignment within the Presidential Palace is nothing new for Wahyu considering that during the leadership of the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Wahyu had also served as Deputy Commander of the Presidential Personal Security Detachment in Group A Paspampres unit. Wahyu has also filled the position as Deputy Commander of Group D Paspampres.

Another important assignment that Wahyu had carried out, among others, was carrying out a peace mission with the Garuda XXV-A/UNAMID Contingent in Darfur, Sudan.

Wahyu at that time served as Chief Operation Sector West UNAMID (African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur).

Not only in Sudan, Wahyu has also served in several countries, including Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Switzerland, and India.

Another strategic position that Wahyu had held, including the Military District Commander (Dandim) 0501/Central Jakarta and Kodim 0503/West Jakarta. When serving as Dandim, Wahyu also oversees the implementation of the 2018 Asian Games, the 2019 General Election (Pemilu), the inauguration of the DPR/MPR/DPD, to the inauguration of the President and Vice President in 2019.

In his new assignment, Wahyu will lead the Presidential Military Secretariat under the auspices of the Ministry of State Secretariat.

Some of the tasks carried out by Sesmilpres include providing technical and administrative support for TNI and Polri personnel related to the appointment and dismissal of positions, as well as giving positions or dismissal from official services whose determination authority lies with the president.

In addition; coordinating the implementation of physical and unphysical security for the President and the Vice President and their families, including state guests at the level of the head of state/head of foreign government; as well as carrying out technical activities and administration of the awarding of the title of hero, a sign of service, and a sign of honor whose decision is in the President.

Other tasks, namely fostering personnel and providing technical instructions in the field of security to the President's aide, Vice President's aide, aide to the wife/husband of the President, aide to the Vice President's wife/husband, aide to foreign national guests, personal doctor to the President, personal doctor to the Vice President, special staff to the President, and special staff to the Vice President.

Furthermore, foster members of the TNI and Polri who serve in the Ministry of State Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat, provide administrative support to all organizational elements within the Presidential Military Secretariat, and carry out other functions provided by the President and Minister of State Secretary.
