Menkum Claims Not Knowing PPP Registration Kubu Agus Suparmanto, Romahurmuziy: It Doesn't Make Sense

JAKARTA - Chairman of the United Development Party Advisory Council (PPP) for the 2020-2025 period, Romahurmuziy alias Romy responded to the confession of the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, who did not know about the registration of the management results of the X PPP Congress with the elected General Chair, Agus Suparmanto.

According to Romy, the Menkum's confession was very unreasonable because the Agus camp management registration document had been received directly by the Minister's staff at the Menkum office, Wednesday, October 1 yesterday.

"Regarding the statement of the Minister of Law and Human Rights which stated that not knowing about the registration made no sense. Because the registration carried out by the Secretary General Taj Yasin (Wednesday, October 1) was received directly by the Minister's staff at the Menkum RI office and covered live by a number of media," Romy said when confirmed by VOI on Thursday, October 2.

"Even before, there had been communication with the staff of the Minister of Directorate General of AHU," continued the former Head of PPP.

Romy emphasized that the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights which ratified Mardiono as General Chair of PPP and signed by the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas was legally flawed because it did not pass the 8 points required by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number 34/2017.

Romy said that Mardiono's management decree submission did not get the requirements for 6 points of Permenkumham 34/2017, namely: "The Certificate of Information is not in the Internal Dispute of Political Parties from the Political Party Court".

"We have confirmed to the Party Court which is led by Mr. Irfan Pulungan, that they did not issue a letter for Mardiono's management," said Romy.

Romy emphasized that there was never an acclamation for Mardiono. Because during the election, the Ketum which was officially held on Monday, October 29, the PPP X Congress was chaotic because it did not want Mardiono to return as Ketum to require the results of the acclamation of his camp to be announced in a hotel room.

Therefore, Romy also asked the Minister of Law to show the existence of a Party Court Letter as required by Permenkumham 34/2017.

"If not, it should be suspected that the Minister of Law and Human Rights committed negligence in the issuance of the decree," said Romy.

Romy explained that his party would take political steps, administrative steps, and lawsuits if necessary for the Minister of Law and Human Rights to cancel the decree.

"The General Chairperson and Secretary General today have sent a letter requesting an audience and an objection letter to the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights regarding the issuance of the decree," he said.

As is known, the Ministry of Law ratifies the management of the United Development Party (PPP) with General Chair Mardiono. This ratification was made after PPP Mardiono's camp registered its management at the Ministry of Law, Wednesday (1/10).

Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas explained that the Ministry of Law carried out extraordinary transformations in terms of public services, where all public services could be carried out very quickly. Moreover, said Supratman, the Ministry of Law will launch Super Apps, so that all services, both individual services and legal entities including political parties for registration and ratification, are carried out very quickly.

"Referring to all political parties that register at the Ministry of Law, there are even things that I finish and more, on the day they register, I immediately ratify. So it doesn't take time and that happens," said Supratman at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, October 2.

"Well, specifically for those related to PPP, on the 30th, one of those who registered was Pak Mardiono," he continued.

Supratman said, after PPP Kubu Mardiono accessed the legal entity administration system, and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights conducted research at the Director General of AHU, then based on the articles of association and household budget (AD / ART) resulting from the IX Congress in Makassar, it did not change.

"So yesterday morning I signed the decree for the ratification of Mr. Mardiono's Management," said Supratman.

Thus, Supratman submitted the conclusion to the public regarding the legitimate PPP management.

"Yes, please interpret it, if it is part of the conditions for a decision to ratify the management, from the Ministry of Law, then friends interpret it themselves," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the PPP for Agus Suparmanto's camp, Supratman admitted that he did not know whether he had registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights or not. What is certain, he said, is that the PPP management decree under the Ketum Mardiono has been signed by the government on Wednesday, October 2 at 10.00-11.00 WIB.

"I don't know yet, because I have never met, so what is certain is that I signed the Minister of Law's decree regarding the ratification of the management results of the PPP congress yesterday around 10 o'clock or 11 o'clock," he concluded.
