Asking Prabowo About MBG, CNN Indonesia Journalists' Liputan Card Was Revoked

JAKARTA - The Palace reporter's reporting identity card belonging to a CNN Indonesia reporter was allegedly revoked because he asked President Prabowo Subianto about the rampant cases of student poisoning after eating free nutritious food (MBG) program.

CNN Indonesia Editor-in-Chief Titin Rosmasari admitted that he would ask for an explanation from the State Secretary regarding the incident.

"I have not been able to provide an explanation regarding the revocation of the CNN Indonesia journalist press card at the Palace. I will ask the State Secretary (Setneg) a question," said Titin, Sunday, September 28.

Based on information circulating on WhatsApp Group, the reporter provided information that he was no longer on duty at the Presidential Palace as of Saturday, September 27, 2025.

"Good night, brothers and sisters. As of tonight I am no longer a palace journalist because my ID Card has been taken by the Press Bureau because I am considered to have asked questions outside the context of the event. Therefore, I have permission to leave this group. Thank you very much, I will see you in other coverage," he wrote.
