Chasing Action To Celebrity Of The River, Police Arrest 2 Suspects Of Methamphetamine In Batola, South Kalimantan

The pursuit of drug cases in Barito Kuala (Batola), South Kalimantan (Kalsel), was marked by the suspect's throwing into the river.

Head of Public Relations of the Batola Police, Iptu Ma'rum, said that the suspect FR (19) threw himself into the river to avoid being arrested while running away with other ASN (22) suspects when they were chased by officers.

"The business of the two shabu slaves, one of which threw themselves into the river, we finally managed to catch them," he said in Marabahan, Batola, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ma'rum said the arrest lokaski was on the side of Trans Kalimantan Street, Handil Bakti Village, Alalak District.

"The arrests of the two perpetrators of the illicit goods business began with us getting information from the public who was followed up, officers in the field," said Head of Public Relations representing Batola Police Chief AKBP Anib Bastian.

"Not only that," said Iptu Ma'rum, after an investigation, not long after, the two perpetrators rode on a Yamaha N-Max motorcycle.

However, as soon as they were about to be arrested, they tried to escape. Even FR who was riding, was determined to throw himself into the river.

However, the efforts of the man whose address is in Sumber Barito District, Murung Raya, Central Kalimantan, are in vain.

After being chased, the officers finally arrested the ASN perpetrator along with evidence of a package of methamphetamine weighing 1.02 grams deep which had been held by his left hand.

Meanwhile, FR was also arrested after trying to escape by throwing into the river.

Tesangka FR admitted that ASN was invited to pick up and deliver methamphetamine to buyers.

In addition to evidence of methamphetamine, the police also confiscated the N-Max motorcycle used by the two perpetrators, and confiscated two units of the perpetrator's cellphone.

"Currently, ASN and FR have been detained at the Batola Police Narcotics Unit and have been named as suspects for further investigation for further legal proceedings," he said.
