JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, Palestine must be stopped and ending the war as a priority, reminding the world not to remain silent.

Highlighting the ongoing tragedy in the Gaza Strip, President Prabowo said it was a disaster in which thousands of innocent lives, the majority of women and children were killed.
"Indonesia condemns all forms of atrocities against civilians," said President Prabowo.
Furthermore, the President of the Republic of Indonesia assessed that ending the war in the Palestinian enclave was the highest priority for the international community.
He stressed that the world should not stand still watching the suffering of the Palestinian people, urging countries that have not taken a firm stance to act immediately to stop violence.
"Ending the war must be a priority," said President Prabowo.
"Therefore, Indonesia once again affirms its commitment to a two-state solution to the conflict in Palestine. Only the two-state solution will bring peace," he continued.
"We must recognize the Palestinian State now. We must stop the humanitarian disaster in Gaza," said President Prabowo.
