The Trend Of Campak Cases Down, All Patients In Jakarta Have Recovered

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Health Office (Dinkes) noted that the current trend ofembike cases has decreased. In fact, currently all people with moderates in Jakarta have recovered.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Ani Ruspitawati, said that based on data from the surveillance website as of September 17, 2025, there was a decrease in the number of suspected persons and cases ofcampus in September compared to August.

"The highest number of cases was 161 in August, but it decreased to 68 cases in September. All patients are now recovering," Ani told reporters, Friday, September 19.

Seeing his history, the distribution of cases of barbarus in DKI Jakarta is the highest in Cengkareng and Kalideres sub-districts in West Jakarta, as well as Duren Sawit sub-district in East Jakarta.

Although there have been no reports of death, Ani revealed that there has been an increase in the trend of Measles cases and needs to be responded quickly so as not to spread. The DKI Health Office has taken countermeasures through the Outbreak Response Immunization (ORI) or the response to immunization in epidemic conditions.

"The KLB that occurred in Cengkareng has received a massive education response to the public, an early warning from health workers and ORI personnel on the MR immunization target. Currently no new cases have been found," explained Ani.

On that occasion, Ani appealed to the public to increase the prevention ofcampus disease, especially in the infant and child age group.

This was done by vaccinating Campak Rubella according to schedule, namely MR1 for 9 months baby, MR2 for 18 months toddler, and MR3 for 1st grade elementary school children.

"Children are grouped aged 1 to 4 years and 5 to 9 years, so it is very important to support immunization programs from infants to school-age children," he explained.

In addition, it is also necessary to implement clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). The public is also asked to come to health facilities if there are symptoms ofcampus such as rashes and fever.
