JAKARTA - Qatar has met with the International Crime Court (ICC) to take steps to sentence Israel to attack Doha last week.

Qatar's chief negotiator, Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, met with the President of the ICC, Judge Tomoko Akane, in The Hague on Wednesday.

"Qatar seeks every available legal and diplomatic route, to ensure accountability for those responsible for the Israeli attack on Qatar," Khulaifi told AFP, Thursday, September 18.

While in his upload on his X account, Khulaifi said his visit met ICC officials to exchange knowledge about legal paths that could be taken in response to Israel's reckless actions.

"Part of the work of the team tasked with exploring legal channels to respond to Israel's illegal armed attacks against Qatar State," Khulaifi said after meeting Judge Tomoko.

Qatar, as a limited participation state at the ICC, cannot refer the case to an international court.
