JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung held a ceremony to commemorate the 55th National Transportation Day (Harhubnas) in 2025 at the South side of the Monas Cross Field, Jakarta. Pramono acted as inspector of ceremonies as well as read out the mandate of the Minister of Transportation.
This year, Harhubnas raised the theme "Transportion for the Country". The message is that every transportation infrastructure and service is a form of service for people of transportation to all Indonesian people.
"National Transportation Day is a momentum to reflect and appreciate the hard work of all transportation personnel, both on land, sea, air, and rail, who have ensured that transportation services run well, safely, safely, and comfortably for the community," said Pramono, Wednesday, September 17.
Transportation, continued Pramono, is not only a matter of physical development, but also a means that connects expectations, dreams, and needs of people throughout the country.
"That transportation is not just infrastructure, but a way of life that connects the expectations of the Indonesian people from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote," he said.
According to him, good-connected and integrated transportation will facilitate food distribution, ensure energy availability, and become a catalyst for economic growth.
"More than that, transportation also opens access to education and employment, in line with Asta Cita launched by President Prabowo Subianto, and of course it is our hope," continued Pramono.
