Had Complained About The Pain In The Chest, The Police Investigated The Allegation Of Bullying As The Motive For The Death Of An MTS Student In Ciracas

JAKARTA - Before being found dead in his house, MTS students in the Cipayung area, East Jakarta had complained of pain in the chest to their grandparents.

Then the victim had permission not to go to school because he was sick. The victim then had time to go to the doctor and was escorted by his grandparents.

This was revealed after the Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a temporary examination of witnesses from the victim's family.

"At that time (before being found dead) the victim was not at school because (permission) was sick. That morning his grandparents took him for treatment. After treatment, the victim) said he had chest pain," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cipayung Police, Iptu Edi Handoko when confirmed, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Furthermore, after receiving treatment at the doctor, the victim was given a number of drugs by the doctor and returned to his home with his grandparents.

"After being taken to the doctor, he was given medicine. After being given medicine, (the victim) slept above, right (the house) on the 2nd floor. After sleeping above, his mother called (asked if the victim) had prayed or not," he said.

Furthermore, after the grandfather went up to the 2nd floor to the victim's room, it turned out that the door to the victim's room was open.

"Kakeknya naik ke atas, setelah naik ke atas kencang pintu kamar (korban) terbuka, dia (kebalnya) kaget kok tidak ada (korban). Di atas ada ruang untuk tengah kan, nah di sitah gantung diri," katanya.

Meanwhile, regarding the alleged bullying of the victim, the police have not been able to conclude.

"We haven't (investigated) until then. Because at that time he was sick, we weren't immediately bullying or bullying. We will cooperate with PPA Polres later," he said.
