Prospective Jakarta Firefighters Escape Recruitment Will Be Announced The Day After Tomorrow

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that the announcement of the selection of firefighters who passed the recruitment process will be carried out on Wednesday, September 17.

As many as 1,000 people who passed the recruitment of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) officers have passed a number of selection stages over the past month.

"So, Firefighters vacancies will be announced for the determination of the names of a thousand people on Wednesday," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service office, Monday, September 15.

All stages of selection are carried out by the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service. However, Pramono emphasized the final decision to determine which 1,000 people will become Gulkarmat Service employees was determined by himself and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno.

"He (Head of the DKI Gulkarmat Service) will report to the Governor. Then the Governor agrees or not," said Pramono.

This year, the Gulkarmat Service opened fire department vacancies with a quota of 1,000 people. However, after the registration period was opened from Tuesday, August 12 to today, the number of registrants has reached 24 times the quota provided.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officially opened the recruitment of DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) officers. Residents can start registering online or online via the www.jakarta.go.id/loop page. Then, open the registration page according to the intended city area.

Registration is valid for 3 days, from 12 to 14 August 2025. Then, the announcement of the results of the administrative evaluation on 15 August 2025.

Then, proof of registration documents and requirements on August 19-22 2025, and announcement of documentary proof on August 25. Applicants who pass the administrative selection undergo physical tests from August 26 to September 17, 2025.

Physical tests were carried out by Kodam Jaya, located at Brigif 1/Jaya Sakti, Kalisari, East Jakarta. In this stage, applicants will undergo a physical fitness test A (run 12 minutes), freshness of Jasmani B (pull up, sit up, push up, shuttle run), posture (height and weight, body anatomy, appearance), and 25 meters of swimming.
