KPK Duga Agent TKA Gives THR Directorate Of PPTKA Ministry Of Manpower To Facilitate Permit Affairs

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there is a holiday allowance (THR) for employees of the Directorate of Foreign Labor Use Control (PPTKA) of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) from foreign labor agents (TKA).

The investigation was carried out by examining two witnesses, namely Mustafa Kamal and Eka Primasari who had served as Sub-Directorates at the Directorate of PPTKA of the Ministry of Manpower today, September 11. They were questioned by investigators at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"In today's witness examination, investigators are investigating the receipt of unofficial money from foreign workers as well as THR money each year received by almost all employees at the PPTKA Directorate," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Thursday, September 11.

The whole money, continued Budi, came from agents. However, he did not specify the amount.

These two witnesses were also investigated by several other things. Among them are about the purchase of assets by the suspects.

"Investigators are also investigating the purchases of assets by suspects who are suspected of originating from unofficial money from TKA agents," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK announced eight suspects in the extortion case for the processing of foreign workers' permits (TKA) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) for the 2019-2024 period.

Two of them were Suhartono and Haryanto who had served as Director General of Manpower Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower. They are suspected of having participated in the flow of extortion money from foreign workers whose value reached Rp53.7 billion.

Meanwhile, the other suspect is Wisnu Pramono as Director of PPTKA of the Ministry of Manpower; Devi Anggraeni as Coordinator of the PPTKA Feasibility Test for the period 2020-July 2024 then became Director of PPTKA for the period 2024-2025; Gatot Widiartono as Coordinator of Analysis and Control of Foreign Workers The Directorate of Control of the Use of Foreign Workers of the Ministry of Manpower; and Putri Citra Wahyoe, Jamal Shodiqin, and Alfa Eshad who are staff at the Directorate General of Binapenta and PPK.

From this case, the KPK has confiscated Harley Davidson from the former special staff of Ida Fauziyah while serving as Minister of Manpower, Risharyudi Triwibowo. The big motorbike was already at the KPK Confiscated Property Storage House (Rupbasan), Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang, East Jakarta after being brought by investigators on July 21 yesterday.

In addition, investigators have also confiscated 13 vehicles with details of 11 cars and 2 motorbikes. Then, forced efforts were made against the assets of the suspects in this case with details:

1. Of the suspects WP in the form of 4 plots of land and buildings with a total area of 2,694 m2 located in Bekasi Regency, West Java;2. From the suspect HY in the form of 2 plots of land along with buildings covering an area of 227 m2 and 2 plots of land with an area of 182 m2 located in Depok City, West Java;3. From the suspect DA in the form of a plot of land covering an area of 802 m2 in Cianjur Regency, West Java as well as a plot of land and buildings covering an area of 72 m2 in Depok City, West Java;4. From the suspect GTW in the form of 2 plots of land and buildings located in South Jakarta City covering an area of 188 m2.5. From the suspect PCW is 2 plots of land covering an area of 244 m2 located in Bekasi City, West Java, and 3 plots of land and buildings with an area of 172 m2 in the City of South Jakarta; and 6. The suspect JS is in the form of 9 plots of land with a total area of 20,114 m2 located in Karanganyar, Central Java.
