JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has begun to repair six Transjakarta bus stops which were damaged by the burning of an unknown crowd in demonstrations in the past week.

President Director of PT Transjakarta Welfizon Yuza admitted, in this short-term repair, at least six damaged bus stops can operate functionally on Monday, September 8 next week.

"The first phase of improvement ensures that our services can run, we will make functional improvements. So, people can go up and down at the bus stop," Welfizon told reporters, Wednesday, September 3.

The six bus stops that were damaged during demonstrations in a number of areas were the Polda Metro Jaya Bus Stop, Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop, Senen Central Bus Stop, Senayan Bus Stop Bank DKI, Youth Gate Stop, and Senayan Roundabout Bus Stop.

Meanwhile, regarding the opportunity to repair the total bus stop until the facilities are complete as before, Welfizon admitted that this matter would still be discussed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung.

"It's being discussed again, it's being held at a meeting. The governor has met with the Minister of Public Works and will be discussed again at the next meeting," he said.
