Central Lombok Street Information Tax Corruption Waits For BPKP Audit, Who Is The Suspect?

The Central Lombok District Attorney (Kejari) stated that the determination of the suspect in the alleged corruption case in the withdrawal of the 2019-2023 street lighting tax is still waiting for the results of the audit of state losses from the West Nusa Tenggara Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Central Lombok Kejari I Made Juri Imanu said the determination of the suspect could not be carried out because the calculation of state financial losses had not been completed.

"The results of the audit have not been released from BPKP," he said when contacted from Mataram, Antara, Thursday, August 28.

Juri mengaku belum mendapat informasi terbaru dari penyidik bidang pidana khusus terkait perkembangan audit tersebut dan membagi agar hal itu ditanyakan langsung kepada pihak BPKP. Namun, BPKP NTB yang dikonfirmasi belum memberikan tanggapan. Jika pun ada, lembaga tersebut tidak berwenang mengungkap informasi ke publik karena audit dilakukan atas permintaan penyidik jaksa.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Central Lombok Kejari Bratha Hariputra in mid-June 2025 revealed that his party had mapped a number of parties who could potentially become suspects.

"We have mapped. It has been mapped. What is clear is that there are more (numbers)," said Bratha.

Investigators scheduled a case title before the determination of the suspect, but the timing of the implementation has not been disclosed. Bratha ensured that the case title was carried out in the near future while waiting for the results of the audit of state losses.

He added that the needs of other investigations such as witness statements, supporting documents, and expert statements were complete.

Bratha explained that this case was related to paying tax incentives that were not distributed according to the provisions.

"Incentives are paid off, but not appropriate. That's what we are exploring," he said.

Regarding the regulations that are the basis for incentive payments, Bratha chose not to reveal the details.

"About that, later," he said.

Dalam penyidikan kasus ini, puluhan saksi sudah diperiksa dari berbagai instansi di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, antara lain Badan Pendapatan Daerah, Dinas Perhubungan, Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah, serta Bagian Hukum.

In investigating this case, dozens of witnesses have been examined from various agencies within the Central Lombok Regency Government, including the Regional Revenue Agency, the Transportation Service, the Regional Finance and Assets Agency, and the Legal Section.
