Collaborating With BPKP To Audit Corruption Losses For West Lombok DPRD Pokir Funds, Kejari Pockets The Role Of Suspects

The Mataram District Attorney (Kejari) cooperated with the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) to strengthen evidence in the investigation of corruption in the main ideas (pokir) of the West Lombok DPRD for the 2024 fiscal year.

Head of the Mataram Kejari Gde Made Pasek Swardhyana said that this step was to strengthen indications of corruption by revealing state financial losses.

"So, at this time we are waiting for the results from BPKP," he said in Mataram, Tuesday, as reported by Antara.

Although he has not received official results from the auditors, Made Pasek revealed that investigators have got an idea for the role of the suspect.

"(The suspect) has been drawn. It's just that later," he said.

Kajari Mataram chose not to reveal this to the public before the results of the audit from BPKP came out. If there are results, he promises to officially reveal this.

"Later, in the near future we will see," he said.

Head of the Mataram Kejari Intelligence Section Harun Al Rasyid previously said that in this case there were already legislative and executive institutions undergoing examination.

"The allegation of abuse is through the social service, the main thing is that in the service, so we have only examined one council, and there is also the previous Head of Social Affairs (head of Social Service)," said Harun.

He said the West Lombok Social Service (Dinsos) in this case as a regional institution that distributes pokir funds in the form of social assistance in the form of immovable goods.

Furthermore, Harun emphasized that his party would release all information regarding the investigation of this case to the public in September 2024.

"September we will be clear. What is clear is that this is still an investigation, the Kadinsos has been investigated, the DPRD member is one on behalf of Ahmad Zainuri, the point is that everything is still ongoing," he said.
