The Inauguration Of Hasto Smoothly, PDIP Spokesperson: Who Dares To Be With Mrs. Megawati?

Spokesperson for the PDI-P (PDIP) Chico Hakim confirmed that Hasto Kristiyanto was re-inducted as Secretary General of PDIP by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. Not only Hasto, the inaugural meeting of PDIP after the VI Congress in Bali also inaugurated several DPP administrators who were previously unable to attend the inauguration on August 2.

"That's right, he has been inaugurated, just, today, at the DPP," Chico said when contacted, Thursday, August 14.

Chico revealed that the inauguration ceremony for Hasto and eight PDIP DPP administrators for the period 2025-2030 at the PDIP DPP Office on Jalan Diponegoro 58, Menteng, Central Jakarta, went smoothly. He emphasized that none of the parties tried to damage the event.

"Lancar lebih PDI Perjuangan, siapa yang berani bukan tidak lancar dengan ibu (Megawati, red), memang ini partai apa," katanya.

"It's smooth, everyone supports it," he added.

Chico hopes that PDIP can continue to consolidate to fight with the people according to the direction of the Megawati Chairman.

"But of course, as directed by Megawati Soekarnoputri, and our decision, we are a balancing party that supports government policies and who criticizes policies that we feel there is something better for the people," he concluded.
