Prabowo: This Economic Player Has The Intention To Make Profits, Doesn't Care About People's Conditions

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the government's attitude of not accepting systematic efforts that have the potential to impoverish the people for the benefit of a handful of parties.

"We cannot be deceived, we cannot be deceived anymore, we want to be good, we want to give opportunities to all but we are not willing to continue to be impoverished by the Indonesian people," Prabowo said at the Plenary Cabinet Session, at the Presidential Office, Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, confiscated by Antara.

The President said that there are actors in the economic system who have different agendas from national interests and are oriented towards profit alone without caring about the condition of the community.

According to him, these parties are even considered not reluctant to continue to suppress the welfare of the people in order to accumulate wealth.

"There are players in this economy who have the intention of only seeking maximum profit, no matter what the people are in. If necessary, the people will continue to be impoverished so that they can suck our wealth like drinking blood, there is, this is called realism," said the President.

The Head of State emphasized that the government will not remain silent about economic practices that harm the people.

Prabowo stressed that the entire cabinet has been aware of this condition and will not allow the people to continue to be under economic pressure.

"We are not small children, we are sitting here, in this Cabinet I am the President, Vice President and all of us here are not small children, we cannot be deceived," he said.

President Prabowo Subianto chaired the Plenary Cabinet Session at the Presidential Office, Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Today's Plenary Cabinet Session is the eighth time it has been held during the administration of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran since the two officially took office on October 20, 2024.

In this Cabinet Session, President Prabowo again praised the performance of the Red and White Cabinet.

"I feel that you are working as a team. I think without your hard work as a team, it is impossible for us to achieve what we have achieved today. In a short time we have achieved a lot," said President Prabowo while giving directions at the Plenary Cabinet Session.
