JAKARTA - Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu plans to take full control of Gaza by reviewing to continue military operations in the Palestinian territories.
The President of the United States (US) Donald Trump, who was asked about Netanyahu's plan, was reluctant to respond further.
"Well, I don't know what the plan is. I know that we've been, now, there, trying to feed people," Trump said when asked by the media crew in the US, Wednesday, August 6, quoted by ABC News.
Trump said the main focus of the US is to deal with food aid felt by Gazans who have been starving due to the Israeli blockade policy on humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
"So, that's what I focus on, as far as the rest, I really can't say, it mostly depends on Israel," Trump added.
Previously, as reported by Al Arabiya, Netanyahu Netanyahu gathered Israeli military and security officials in a meeting held for three hours.
In that limited meeting, Netanyahu planned to continue his occupation of Gaza. However, Al Jazeera on Tuesday 5 August reported that Supreme General Eyal Zamir opposed Netanyahu's efforts to fully occupy Gaza without any remnant.
