US Attorney General Opens Investigation Of Alleged Trump's Collusion With Russia In The 2016 Election

JAKARTA - United States Attorney General (US) Pam Bondi has ordered US Justice Department prosecutors to launch an investigation by the grand jury to examine US 44th Presidential-era government officials Barack Obama committing federal crimes.

The crime in question is related to allegations of Russian interference, allegations of collusion between the Donald Trump campaign team and the Russian government, or the so-called Russiagate, in the 2016 US elections.

Citing US CBS News, Tuesday, August 5, US Justice Department prosecutors will submit related evidence to the Supreme Court as an assessment of the alleged case against Trump's political opponents whether it will be processed into official charges.

However, it is not clear what the allegations are and who will be charged.

Trump is known to have been elected president in the 2016 election, defeating Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton. Hillary's camp has always accused her political opponents of slandering the so-called Russiagate allegations.

Last month, US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, accused former President Barack Obama and his national security team of "a coup over the years" against Trump.

Gabbard alleges that intelligence on Russia's interference in the 2016 White House election has been politicized by the Obama-era White House to mistakenly link Trump to Russia.

Trump reacted by accusing Obama of "traisal". In response, a Obama spokesman called the claim "strange".
