Jokowi Denies SBY Is The Great Figure Of Being Behind Allegations Of Fake Diplomas

The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), emphasized that he had never mentioned the color of the party regarding the 'big' figure who ranked false diploma accusations. Especially accusing the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

"Nothing. I never talked about color," said Jokowi at his residence, Thursday, July 31.

According to him, the statement submitted was only a 'big' figure without offending any political parties or parties, especially SBY.

Jokowi emphasized that it was impossible for SBY to be the mastermind behind the allegations of fake diplomas. Because, is a good figure of statesman.

"It's not that I don't know, I said there are big people who back up. But once again, no one should feel accused, let alone Pak SBY's class, no. He is a good statesman," he said.

Jokowi reiterated that his question did not offend anyone. Because, never once did the sentence that came out of Jokowi refer directly to political parties.

"I never said that," said Jokowi.

It is known that the case of false diploma accusations handled by the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri has been stopped. Because, based on the results of the examination of the Strata 1 (S1) diploma, the Faculty of Forestry, Gajah Mada University (UGM) was declared identical.

In addition, the National Police's Wassidik Bureau issued a Notification on the Development of Dumas Handling (SP3D) Number: 14657/VII/RES.7.5/2025/BARESKRIM regarding the process of holding a special case. Its contents state that the investigation is terminated by the Directorate of General Crimes in accordance with applicable regulations.
