Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri reminded the importance of organizational discipline and mutual cooperation within her party.

This was conveyed by Megawati in the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) of the PDIP Faction throughout Indonesia at The Meru and Bali Beach Convention Center, Sanur, Denpasar, Wednesday, July 30. Initially, he reminded that the struggle as a party person should not stop as long as the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) was established.

"This is a big mandate, not only to me personally but to all levels of the party. As party members, our struggle will not be completed as long as the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia must remain," Megawati said in the activity.

The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia reminded the importance of cadre solidity at all levels and invited all members of the PDIP legislature to go down to the community. Megawati said that this teaching had been conveyed by the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno who was also her father.

"If the pole is fragile, the country could collapse. We have colonized 3.5 centuries, do we want to colonize again? Don't! Because colonialism is very sick," he said.

Megawati also advised cadres to always comply with party decisions. They must not be trapped in personal interests that can weaken collective forces.

"This party must get bigger, don't get smaller. You have to feel like a family, you have to work together. If you work together like that, the people will come with us," said Megawati.

The Bimtek was attended by thousands of members of the DPR RI, Provincial DPRD, and the Regency/City DPRD of the PDIP Faction. The activity lasted until Friday, August 1.

In addition to briefing from party leaders, participants also received briefing on strengthening the role of factions in legislative institutions, evaluating the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) and the 2025 APBD, as well as regional political communication strategies.
