Seskab Teddy Proposed To Be A Ambassador To The People's School

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf stated that his party would follow up on proposals from two heads of the People's School who wanted Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya to become the Ambassador of the People's School.

This statement was made by the Minister of Social Affairs regarding the visit of Seskab Teddy to the 10 Cibinong Junior High School (SRMP), Bogor Regency, West Java, on Sunday (27/7).

"Indeed, yesterday in Cibinong, there were two school principals who suggested Mr. Teddy could be the Ambassador of the People's School. Because from the beginning Mr. Teddy was considered to have followed seriously and paid serious attention," said the Minister of Social Affairs when giving a statement at the Presidential Palace Jakarta, Tuesday, July 29.

The Minister of Social Affairs explained that Seskab Teddy was considered to have participated in the People's School which was one of President Prabowo's priority programs.

Seskab Teddy is considered to have paid serious attention, especially since the People's School program was launched until it was finally launched on July 14, 2025, and has now been running for more than two weeks.

The Ministry of Social Affairs also welcomed the proposal and was ready to follow up. However, Seskab Teddy has not yet responded to the proposal.

"Of course we welcome this and we will follow up. Meanwhile, Mr. Teddy himself has not provided an answer," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

As previously reported, Seskab Teddy visited the First Middle People's School (SRMP) 10 Cibinong which was at the Integrated Center of Integrated Soeweno, Cibinong, on Sunday (27/7) night.

"It's nice to meet my younger siblings, students from the 10 Cibinong Junior High School (SRMP) at the Integrated Center of Integrated Soeweno, Cibinong," said Seskab Teddy.

During his visit at the invitation of the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf, Teddy directly inspected the modern facilities owned by the school, such as classrooms, dormitories, mosques, laboratories, libraries, counseling rooms, computer rooms, to futsal fields.

Teddy also admitted that he was happy to interact directly with the students of SRMP 10 Cibinong while saying their welcome was very lively and fun.

Seskab hopes that the existence of this school can pave the way for students to achieve a better future for themselves, their families, communities, and the nation.
