JAKARTA - The School Environment Recognition Period (MPLS) at 63 points for People's Schools has entered its second week and will end soon. The preparation of the People's School will continue to the stage of matriculation which is approximately carried out for three months.

On this occasion, Gus Ipul also conveyed several important things during the preparation period that the Principal needs to pay attention to, Teachers and, Tendik. The first thing is to be patient.
"We are not building physical buildings, we are building civilizations starting from children who are educated with love, discipline and noble national values, for that patience with existing shortcomings is very important," he explained.
Furthermore, Gus Ipul invited the Principals, Teachers, and Tendik to create a pleasant environment, provide a sense of security, and humanize. At People's Schools, differences are not a reason to hate each other but opportunities to study together.
Principals, teachers, and Tendik must also be consistent with rules, norms and actions. All that students see comes from role models, namely people who become parents at the People's School. And teachers, foster guardians, dorm guardians, and Tendik who become students' moral compasses.
The thing that is no less important is to bring a heart to the education process for People's School students.
"Our children not only learn about science and mathematics, but also about empathy, collaboration and humanity, this is true education that touches reason and brings our hearts to life, so we present our hearts, we teach with our hearts, we educate with our hearts, we secure them with our hearts," he said.
Finally, in the preparation period, it is important to record all student conditions, both physically, mentally and academically. Evaluation is carried out regularly, recorded, measurable, and progress.
