SERANG The Resmob Team of the Banten Police's Ditreskrimum managed to secure six illegal racing perpetrators who were troubling the community in the KP3B area, Jalan Syekh Nawawi Albantani, Curug District, Serang City, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at around 01.00 WIB.

The arrests were made when the perpetrators were carrying out illegal racing actions that endangered the safety of road users and disrupted public order.

"We received reports from the public regarding the existence of illegal racing activities that often occur in the KP3B area. The Resmob team immediately moved and managed to secure six perpetrators along with a number of evidences," explained the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Banten Police, Kombes Pol Dian Setyawan. , Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

The following are the perpetrators who were arrested:

1.ZD (22), a resident of Padarincang as a vehicle jockey for Yamaha Jupiter.

2.SH (33), a resident of Pabuaran owner of a Yamaha Jupiter vehicle.

3.AA (18), a resident of Walantaka the owner of the Kawasaki KLX vehicle as well as the bet actor.

4.NF (19), a resident of Walantaka owner of a Honda Vario vehicle.

5.FF (17), a resident of Pabuaran the owner of the Suzuki Satria F vehicle.

6.AN (29), a resident of Walantaka.

During the operation, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of:

Jupiter's Yamaha (without a police number)

Kombes Pol Dian explained that the perpetrators were charged with Article 12 paragraphs (1) and (2) of Law no. 38 of 2004 concerning Roads, as well as Article 297 of Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).
