Not Only Procurement Of BRI EDC, Former President Director Of PT PCS Elvizar Was Also Entangled In A Gas Station Digitization Corruption Case

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that one of the five suspects in the alleged corruption in the procurement of EDC machines for Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) or BBRI was also caught in another case. This figure is Elvizar who is the former Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said Elvizar was also entangled in the alleged corruption of the digitization of PT Pertamina's public fuel station (SPBU) in 2018-2019.

"EL (from, red) PT PCS, does it have anything to do with the digitization of gas stations in the case we are handling too? That's right," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 9.

Asep has not detailed Elvizar's involvement in the case of digitizing gas stations. However, his company is known as a provider or vendor in the field of technology or IT.

"As a possible picture, providers related to IT issues like this are not too much. In addition to providers of goods and services for building construction, etc., there are more," he said.

"So these people are likely known in several places so they come along in several places. This means that EL is involved in the current case (EDC BRI, ed) and the digitalization case," continued Asep.

Elvizar has been investigated several times in the corruption case of the digitization project of PT Pertamina's public refueling station (SPBU) in 2018-2019. He is also reportedly a suspect along with DR and W from PT Telkom (Persero).

Previously reported, the KPK announced five suspects in alleged corruption in the procurement of EDC machines for Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) or BBRI. They are Catur Budi Harto who is the former Deputy Director of Bank BRI; Indra Utoyo who is the former Director of Digital Information Technology (ICT) and BRI Operations; and Dedi Sunardi who is the SEVP of BRI's Activatement and Procurement Management.

Meanwhile, the private parties appointed were Elvizar, who is the former Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi and Rudi Suprayudi from PT Bringin Inti Teknologi. The five suspects are suspected of causing state finances amounting to Rp744,540,374,314 from the project value of Rp2.1 trillion.
