PM Netanyahu Praises Israel's Military "perfect Execution" In Attacks On Iran

JAKARTA - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) attack on a number of targets in Iran.

Israel launched airstrikes against targets of nuclear and Iranian facilities in a number of areas in its "Raising Nation" operation on June 13.

PM Netanyahu's IDF General Staff Forum said the decision to attack Iran's ballistic and nuclear missile programs was unanimously approved both in the government and in the IDF.

"The questions arise about the United States, and I tell you, we will do everything we can to involve them, but that is not a condition," the Israeli PM said according to a statement by his office, quoted by The Times of Israel July 1.

During the meeting, PM Netanyahu thanked Israeli Defense Minister Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir "for the execution of the tasks we set perfectly."

Indicating Iran could rebuild its ballistic and nuclear missile programs at some point, he compared Israel before Iran's campaign earlier this month with a patient with two cancer tumors, "one nuclear threat and the other missile threats."

"And if you don't get rid of it, you will die. You can get rid of it and they will come back, like you treat cancer. But if you don't get rid of it, we will die."

It is known that the United States launched a "Midnight Hammer" operation on June 21 which US President Donald Trump said successfully hit Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
