IKN Authority Disburses IDR 313 Billion For Arrangement Of Sepaku And RTH Areas

PENAJAM PASER UTARA - To organize the IKN area located in parts of North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, the Capital Authority of the Archipelago (IKN) used funds of IDR 313.2 billion.

"We are actively involved in the entire process of implementing the construction work for the arrangement of the IKN area," said Acting Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure of the IKN Authority Danis H Sumadilaga in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, June 27.

According to him, the agreement for structuring the Sepaku area as well as structuring sports areas and green open spaces (RTH) has been signed, as part of the second phase of IKN development.

The work package for the arrangement of the Sepaku area consists of the construction of two buildings and the Pasar Sepaku area, the arrangement of the 1.5 kilometer Sepaku corridor located at the WP IKN Barat, and the construction of ten security posts spread throughout the IKN deliberation area.

"The contract value of Rp124.3 billion comes from the 2025 State Budget," he said.

Then the sports area structuring work package and green open space include the construction of an orchid currency (Orchid Garden), rehabilitation of a "glamping" area located in the central government area (KIPP) 1A, the construction of PSSI infrastructure, and the construction of a Wanagama research center located at KIPP 1B.

"The contract value of Rp188.9 billion also comes from the 2025 State Budget," he said.

He said the two strategic area structuring works were carried out for 189 calendar days from June 26 to December 31, 2025. And the two projects were part of the second phase of IKN development which took place during the 2025-2029 period.

"Hharmony with the community during the development process is very important, so it is requested that the quality and process of work do not interfere with people's lives," said Danis.

The IKN Authority is also collaborating with the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia to support transparent and accountable development governance. According to him, the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence (Jamintel) was involved in escorting these strategic projects
