JAKARTA - Iran's head of Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, said his country was evaluating the damage it experienced on its nuclear site and plans to rehabilitate it.

"We have taken the necessary steps and are currently assessing the damaged area," Eslami said in a statement broadcast by Iran's Mehr news agency, Tuesday, June 24, quoted by Al Jazeera.

Eslami said the evaluations carried out included anticipatory measures that needed to be taken if Iran's nuclear facilities were disrupted.

"Preparations for recovery have been anticipated, and our plan is to prevent any disturbances, in production or services," he continued.

Previously, the United States (US) carried out airstrikes against three major Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.

The three Iranian facilities that were hit by the bomb were carried out by the US on Saturday, June 21, 2025 local time.

A day has passed, the Iranian government confirmed the truth regarding the US military attack on their three nuclear sites. Iran has confirmed no radiation contamination from the attack.

Iran's Atomic Energy Organization also stressed that the national nuclear program will continue with its country.
