Steal Kawasaki Ninja Using T Key, 21-Year-Old Teenager Beaten By Kemayoran Residents

JAKARTA - A motorcycle thief with the initials WBF (21) from Indramayu was battered when he was caught stealing a motorbike belonging to a resident on Jalan Kemayoran Gempol, Kebon Blank Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta.

The actions of the perpetrators were known to other residents when they tried to break into residents' Kawasaki Ninja motorbikes using the letter T key. Meanwhile, the other perpetrators managed to escape.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said, from the results of the search, officers confiscated a number of evidences.

"We have confiscated the evidence and we have examined the witnesses," he said when confirmed, Monday (16/6/2025).

Currently, the perpetrators are still being investigated at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police.

"We will not give space for curanmor actors in our jurisdiction," he said.

The evidence confiscated was in the form of a set of letter T keys complete with two keys, one magnetic key, and one letter T key which was still stuck on the victim's motorbike.

"We also continue to hunt down other perpetrators who managed to escape," he said.

For his actions, the WBF suspect was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft by weight. The suspect faces a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison.
