DENPASAR - Bali Satpol PP has begun to monitor tourism businesses that are indicated to be illegal or have committed licensing violations along Balangan Beach, Badung Regency, Bali.

Head of Bali Satpol PP I Dewa Nyoman Rai Dharmadi said this in-depth monitoring was a follow-up after previously discovering the facts of illegal business at Bingin Beach which will now be officially dismantled.

"Earlier at Bingin Beach, now we are conducting an in-depth investigation at Balangan Beach for justice, what happened at Baning Beach is the same as what happened at Balangan Beach which we are currently investigating," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 10.

From its initial observation, the Bali Satpol PP found a number of tourism businesses such as those formed at Bingin Beach, namely lodging and restaurants.

This finding departs from their initiative to trace areas suspected of violating permits, both spatial planning and land rights used, because the location is right on the coast.

"The group is the same, there are 23 entrepreneurs who take advantage of the beach border as well, the conditions are the same as at Bingin Beach, this is for the sake of justice, so we do the same thing, there are many restaurants there," said Rai Dharmadi.

Furthermore, they will clarify the business owners to confirm their permits.

Previously, the Bali Satpol PP together with the Bali DPRD first found that tourism businesses violated along Bingin Beach, starting from violating spatial planning to being proven to have utilized state land so far.

It was decided against illegal businesses on Banin Beach to be dismantled and operationally suspended, plus legally examined because there were criminal allegations in it and business ownership by foreigners.

"Two indicated foreigners, one clear and one we are investigating because this is a nominee whose administrative status is indeed an agreement between the two parties, while one is clearly the ownership of foreigners, so far they have carried out business activities in areas that are not owned," said Rai Dharmadi.
