PKS Kurbankan 9,757 Animals To Be Distributed To Communities Throughout Indonesia

As of this Saturday at 07.45 WIB, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) is said to have slaughtered 9,757 sacrificial animals, to be distributed to the public in the context of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah.

The President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Al Muzzammil Yusuf said the sacrificial animals included 4,294 cows, 10 buffalo, and 5,453 goats.

"The sacrificial animals are obtained from the contributions of various parties, such as members of the legislature at all levels, including centers, provinces, regencies/cities, community leaders, regional heads, and cadres," said Muzzammil at the Peak Press Conference of the PKS 1446 H Sacrifice Slaughter Event in Jakarta, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, June 7.

For this reason, he expressed his gratitude for the participation of cadres, public officials, regional heads, sympathizers, and others, who cannot be called one by one because they have enlivened Eid al-Adha this year.

From the slaughter of the animal, he said, PKS targets to divide 2.3 million sacrificial packages along with the momentum of PKS' 23rd Birthday.

He explained that the sacrificial packages would be distributed to administrators, members, and the surrounding community.

"In our offices, the mosques around us, neighbors, we prioritize them because they are the closest people," he said.

Muzzammil said that the process of cutting and distributing sacrificial animals was carried out in all PKS offices in Indonesia.

He revealed that the slaughter process was managed professionally, carried out according to sharia, packaged hygienically, and distributed in an orderly and safe manner.

"So we will not grab, sorry later. Naudzubilllah is afraid that someone will become a victim and others," said Muzzammil.

As for the peak of the sacrificial animal slaughter event, Muzzammil came down and cut the sacrificial animal. He admitted that it was not easy to slaughter the sacrifice because while imagining the severity of the condition of Prophet Ibrahim alaihi greeting when he was about to slaughter his son.

"I once tried that slaughter time, I imagined the person I love the most, that I stopped, I couldn't continue with it. Finally I came back with God, for God's sake," he said.

Therefore, he emphasized that the slaughtering process should be used as a religious experience because the slaughtered animals are not being tamed, but also worshiping.
