District Court Judges And PT Jakarta Examined Regarding Corruption Cases Of Handling Corruption Cases

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) examined six witnesses in the investigation of the alleged obstruction case handling tin corruption cases, corruption in the import of sugar and crude palm oil (CPO). Two of them are judges of the Central Jakarta District Court and Jakarta High Court.

"Examination of HS as a judge at the Central Jakarta District Court and HM as a judge at the DKI Jakarta High Court," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar in his statement, Wednesday, May 28.

However, it was not clearly conveyed about the material for the examination of the two judges. It is only said that the process of taking the information was carried out on Tuesday, May 27.

In addition, Harli also conveyed the question of the other four witnesses who were also questioned. Three of them are from PT Wilmar, while the other comes from PT Permata Hijau Palm Oleo.

"Witness MA as the Litigation Manager of PT Wilmar; MBHA as the Head of Corporate Legal PT Wilmar; WK as the staff of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia; and DMBB as the Head of Legal PT Permata Hijau Palm Oleo," said Harli.

The AGO has named four suspects in the alleged obstruction case in handling this case, namely MS (Marcella Santoso) as advocate, JS (Junaedi Saabih) as lecturer and advocate, TB (Tian Bahtiar) as Director of JAKTV News, and MAM (M Adhiya Muzakki) as head of the Cyber Army team.

The four suspects allegedly obstructed the handling process of three cases at the AGO, namely corruption in the provision of CPO export facilities and their derivatives, corruption in tin commodity trading in the PT Timah Tbk IUP area, and corruption cases in the sugar importation activity on behalf of Tom Lembong.

Suspects MS and JS as advocates are collaborating with suspects TB and MAM to create and spread negative news and content on social media.
