President Prabowo Returns To Jakarta After The ASEAN Summit In Kuala Lumpur

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto returned to Jakarta after completing the entire agenda for attending the 46th ASEAN Summit and other high-level meetings in Kuala Lumpur on 26'27 May 2025.

The PK-GRD presidential plane carrying President Prabowo Subianto together with Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya took off from the TUDM Subang Air Base in Selangor, Tuesday, May 27, to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, this afternoon.

On the apron of the TUDM Subang Air Base, President Prabowo's return was released by a number of Malaysian and Indonesian officials, namely the Minister of Agriculture and Malaysian Food Insurance Datuk Hajj Series Mohammad bin Sabu, Chairman of the Istiadat Employees of the Dato Kingdom Rozainor, Deputy Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Rossy Verona, and the Indonesian Defense Attache to Malaysia Brigadier General Winarno.

The same group of officials also welcomed the President's arrival at the TUDM Subang Air Base on Sunday (25/5) night.

As reported by ANTARA, in Kuala Lumpur, President Prabowo attended the 46th ASEAN Summit, Monday (26/6), along with other high-level meetings, namely the ASEAN Summit with bay countries (GCC), and the ASEAN Summit with GCC and China, Tuesday. The President also attended a number of high-level subregional cooperation meetings such as the 16th BIMP-EAGA Summit.

In the ASEAN 46th Summit series, Monday, President Prabowo spoke in a panel session along with nine other member states leaders, including Malaysian Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim as the host and Chair of ASEAN this year.

Presiden Prabowo bersama pemimpin negara-negara anggota pada hari yang sama lanjut mengikuti agenda retret, kemudian pertemuan antara ASEAN dan parlemen negara-negara ASEAN (AIPA), pertemuan antara ASEAN dengan perwakilan anak-anak muda ASEAN (ASEAN Youth), dan pertemuan dengan Dewan Pensukan Bisnis ASEAN (ASEAN-BAC).

Then, the leaders of member states on Monday also signed the 2045 ASEAN Declaration: Our Shared Future, and the event was closed with a dinner by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center on Monday (26/5) night.
