Then, strategic initiatives in building Hong Kong's image and identity as a creative industry center in Asia, as well as support for the participation of industry players in international film festivals to expand global networks and exposures.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is initiating the formation of the Jakarta Film Commission as a tangible manifestation of our support for the national film industry, which will be equipped with various incentives, ease of licensing, and other supporting facilities," said Rano as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 17.

Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Development Council as well as a senior actor, Wilfred Wong welcomed the invitation from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to jointly build a film creative ecosystem in the capital city.
