Provincial Government Appreciates The Construction Of The MBG Kitchen Of The North Kalimantan Police

TANJUNG CELLOR Provincial Government (Pemprov) of North Kalimantan continues to support the realization of Asta Cita Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto through the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program. This was conveyed by the Acting (Pj) of the Provincial Secretary (Sekprov) of North Kalimantan, Bustan while attending the Groundbreaking of the Construction of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) at the Shooting Field Endra Dharmalaksana, Bulungan Police on Wednesday, May 14.

On this occasion, Bustan together with the Head of the Kaltara Regional Police (Kapolda) Inspector General Pol. Hary Sudwijanto and the Deputy Chief of the Kaltara Police Brigadier General Pol. Soeseno Noerhandoko laid the first stone for the construction of the SPPG building, which is targeted for completion in September 2025.

"The Kaltara Provincial Government appreciates and thanks the Kaltara Police for supporting Asta Cita Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto through the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program," said Bustan.

"Hopefully this collaboration and synergy can succeed in our President's program, free nutritious food," he added.

Bustan revealed, related to the MBG program cost policy, it is still in the process of being discussed, so in the near future a meeting will be held with the Minister of Home Affairs and the Kaltara Provincial Government to prepare land, also built with APBN funding sources.

However, the Provincial Government ensures that it will continue to support the MBG program, in accordance with its authority.

"We provide information according to our authority, we provide SLTA data and what radius is the data and radius so that the food prepared by the target to students is not stale," said Bustan.

Bustan added that his party also prepared data according to the authority at the provincial level, namely SMA, SMK, and SLB.

"Maybe on condition that the radius is how many kilometers from the public kitchen to the target location where the school is located," said Bustan.

He added, based on the task of the North Kalimantan Provincial Government, it is currently conducting monitoring, evaluation and other support, including being asked to prepare land.

The Provincial Government of Kaltara is very grateful for the support of all parties including the support of the North Kalimantan Police, even now the MBG program in Kaltara has been running in several areas such as Tarakan and Nunukan.

"What is clear is that we hope that the MBG program will be sustainable, we have been on track and running, so the pace will continue, because this building is prepared in September," he concluded. (ADV)
