Mobile SIM Service Present In East And West Jakarta Sunday Morning

JAKARTA - For Jakarta residents who want to extend the validity period of their driving license (SIM), Polda Metro Jaya again presents mobile SIM services in two areas on Sunday morning.

Residents of East Jakarta and West Jakarta can take advantage of this service to take care of the SIM extension without having to come to the Satpas office.

Information from the official TMC Polda Metro Jaya account on platform X states that mobile SIM services are available on Jalan Raden Inten, Kalimalang, next to McDonald's Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, as well as on Jalan Panjang, next to Indomaret Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. Both locations will serve the community from 07.00 to 12.00 WIB.

However, for today, similar services are not available in North Jakarta, South Jakarta and Central Jakarta.

Residents who want to use this facility are required to bring the required documents, namely a valid photocopy of their ID cards, photocopies of old SIMs, original SIMs, health check results, and psychological test evidence. All documents must be prepared before coming to the location.

Please note, mobile SIM car services only serve the extension of SIM A and SIM C which are still active. If the validity period of the SIM has expired, the applicant must apply for a new SIM at the official location determined by the police.

The SIM extension fee refers to Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, namely Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C.

For SIM B owners, extensions cannot be done through mobile services. This is due to the classification of different vehicles, where SIM B is intended for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons. Therefore, the extension of SIM B must be done directly at the Satpas office.
