JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated a Prosperous Children's Park (TAS) named Arutala in Kebon Bawang Village, North Jakarta.
Currently, there are 3 BAGs in Jakarta. Pramono targets BAG to be established in each sub-district.
"Hopefully in the near future there will be 44 in each sub-district," said Pramono at BAG Serutala, Kebon Bawang, North Jakarta, Monday, May 5.
Pramono said, BAT has a special daycare facility for the poor and really can't afford it. Daycare facilities on BAG are provided free of charge.
Prosperous children who are placed in BAG will receive study assistance, up to dependents for eating and drinking every day. Pramono assessed that currently many parents of poor families need daycare but are constrained by costs.
"There is a family whose children are four, their mother is a washing coolie, their father is a construction worker, their child is four. So to be able to improve their life, of course, they really want to be able to leave their child in this place," explained Pramono.

The DKI Provincial Government, continued Pramono, is working with Baznas Bazis Bazis Jakarta as well as the support of corporate social responsibility (CSR) from BUMD in meeting the needs of the child care budget and BAG operations in Jakarta.
Thus, Pramono hopes that the existence of a daycare BAT can help reduce the cost burden on the daily needs of poor families in Jakarta.
"This will be very good for children who are on average from very poor families," said Pramono.
"I personally hope that this child, if that's the case in elementary and junior high schools and so on, they can get a KJP, a Smart Jakarta Card. It will really cut the line of disadvantage in the community," he added.
