Appointing Ex-Director Of Garuda To Cak Lontong As Commissioner Of Ancol, Pramono: Who Is In Doubt?

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung opened his voice regarding the reshuffle of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, where former President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero), Irfan Setiaputra was appointed as President Commissioner (Komut) and Independent Commissioner.

In addition, Pramono also appointed Lies Hartono or Cak Lontong who was the head of his winning team in the 2024 Pilkada as Commissioner. Pramono also appointed former DKI Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso as Commissioner.

Pramono admitted that he was confident in his abilities and experiences with Irfan, Cak Lontong, and Sutiyoso in supervising the management of the company owned by the DKI Provincial Government.

"Why do we raise three people, the approach is because of their abilities. Who doubts Pak Sutiyoso, the former President Director of Garuda, and also Cak Lontong. Yes, whatever (they) are professional people for that," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, April 29.

Moreover, Pramono emphasized that there was no change in the composition of Ancol's directors. This is because the former Cabinet Secretary wants the board of directors to focus on improving tourism infrastructure to the quality of company management.

"Indeed, in my early period, Ancol will get special attention. Especially to connect Ancol with JIS. So that if JIS has an event, the parking is easy," said Pramono.

"And I have also asked Ancol's board of directors to do a more modern, open and transparent way of thinking," he added.

For the record, the appointment of Ancol's new board of commissioners currently replaces Sofyan Abdul Djalil, who previously served as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner, as well as Henky Wijaya and Suhardi Alius who were previously in the position of Commissioner.

Meanwhile, the board of directors did not experience a reshuffle. Where the President Director is held by Winarto. Then, the Director is still held by Cahyo Satriyo Prakoso, Daniel Nainggolan, and Eddy Prastiyo.

In the annual GMS, Ancol also announced the reporting of the performance of the 2024 financial year. Throughout 2024, Ancol recorded operating revenues of IDR 1.266 trillion with the main contribution from the tourism segment of 75.11 percent, the rest coming from real estate and trade and services.

In addition, Ancol also distributed dividends of IDR 24 per share, totaling IDR 38.40 billion or 21.60 percent of net profit.
