Reported To MKD, Secretary General Of Gerindra Reminds Ahmad Dhani To Be More Careful In Speaking

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani asked Ahmad Dhani to be more careful when reported to the Council's Honorary Court (MKD) for alleged ethical violations in the form of insults to clans.

Muzani said that his party had reminded Dhani as a member of the Gerindra faction who sat on Commission X of the DPR not to mention sensitive matters in the commission meeting.

"Mas Dhani has indeed been reminded that there are several things, we have all been reminded there are several things that are sensitive. Sensitive means there are some areas that do not need to be touched on. Because it has the potential to offend people. And I think Mas Dhani understands that," said Muzani at the Parliament Complex, Friday, April 26.

Not only Ahmad Dhani, Muzani also asked all members of the Gerindra faction in the DPR RI to be more careful in maintaining their words.

In fact, he continued, all parties who are state administrators should not issue statements that can argue the law.

"Yes, I think not only Dhani, but we are all members of the Council and other administrators, other state administrators must be careful, because people can complain about their offense at any time and to law enforcement officials," said the chairman of the MPR RI.

Muzani also invited the DPR RI MKD to process the complaint against Ahmad Dhani.

"Yes, later the MKD will discuss, discuss the complaint and from the internal side of the faction," he said.

Although the East Java electoral district legislator has the right to immunity as a member of the DPR, Muzani emphasized that the MKD will process public reports fairly.

"Later on the MKD, yes, the Honorary Court of the Council will discuss this matter later. I believe that the MKD will be fair in this matter," he said.

Previously, Musician Rayen Pono reported Ahmad Dhani to the Council's Honorary Court (MKD) for alleged ethical violations in the form of insults to clans. Rayen reported directly to the MKD with his team of attorneys at the Parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, April 24.

Rayen explained that this report is a form of seriousness between himself and the team in responding to Ahmad Dhani's statement which is considered to contain elements of insulting the Pono clan, which is part of the identity of the extended family in the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) region.

For information, this problem originated from Ahmad Dhani's statement by mentioning Rayen Pono's name as 'Rayen Porn' in the debate. For this case, Rayen had previously reported Ahmad Dhani regarding cases of racial and ethnic discrimination and the ITE Law at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters.

Meanwhile, in his response, Ahmad Dhani admitted that he had apologized to Rayen Pono about the error in the invitation draft which he said was wrong in writing.

"I'm sorry for the typo in the invitation draft," said Ahmad Dhani, Wednesday, April 23.

According to Dhani, everyone is equal in law. However, he said, sometimes the interpretation of society makes cases long.

"If you use reason, people definitely don't believe I did what I was accused of," he said.
